Attention all candidates; you can pick up a candidate filing petition from your local Clerk's office.  For local municipal petitions such as Clerk, Treasurer, Supervisor or Trustee you must have a minimum of 3 signatures and a maximum of 10, you must declare a party affiliation.  All signers must be registered to vote in the jursdiction you are running for.  You must obtain and fill out an affidavit of identity and turn in with your filled out petition.  Once you file you have 10 days to open a campaign finance account.

Partisan and nonpartisan candidates (other than judicial candidates) file nominating petitions (or fees if applicable) and Affidavit of Identity for the August primary. Withdrawal deadline elapses at 4:00 p.m. on May 18.
